About The Position

The Flex Pac Operator & At Once Operator timely and accurately processes cartons according to established procedures and facility goals. The role processes garments using Red Prairie screens, performs value-added services, handles exceptions and at-once units, packs cartons, applies labels and packing lists, and delivers work to designated workstation areas. The operator also maintains supplies and equipment, performs audits and paperwork, and keeps the work area clean. This full-time position is located in Henderson, Nevada.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Yearly pallet rider certification.
Ability to operate an RF handheld scanner and PC.
Ability to properly maintain printers and tape guns.
PC skills.
Acceptable vision to perform job functions.
Ability to lift and move objects and totes weighing approximately 60 pounds.
Ability to work at different heights and on all levels of the building, including traversing stairs as needed.
Ability to stand for 90% of the day if required by the job function.
Ability to read and write in English.
Strong number recognition and correlation.
Ability to maintain control of moving equipment at all times.

Responsibilities

Use a PC and keyboard applications on Red Prairie screens to perform job functions.
Process garments according to Red Prairie screen instructions and established procedures.
Perform designated value-added services, including price ticketing, adding hangers, specialized folding, and bagging.
Identify and separate wrong, damaged, or excess garments from totes and process them according to procedures.
Perform exception functions, including at-once processing and modifying or deleting SKUs.
Pack cartons, apply labels and barcodes, and add packing lists as designated.
Operate a handheld scanner and printers, perform basic printer maintenance, and reprint labels or documents as needed.
Enter information into a PC as needed.
Manually tape cartons for shipment and assemble cartons as needed.
Perform audit functions and complete required paperwork as directed.
Maintain necessary supplies and retrieve sundries from the storage pod as needed.
Clean the floor and work area continuously and maintain facility housekeeping standards.
Monitor the At Once Report to determine work priorities.
Process and prepare units for delivery to the specified workstation area or carton, and deliver needed at-once units there.
Clear at-once cartons as required and perform exception functions according to procedures.
Collect and process overages, shortages, and damaged units according to procedures.
Assist the sundries operator in checking inventory levels.
Operate a pallet rider and pallet jack.
Perform work-area functions as needed to accommodate changing workload priorities.
Follow safety rules and requirements, LS&Co. policies and procedures, and established efficiency and accuracy requirements.
Watch for carton jams and mechanical equipment failures and immediately report them.
Maintain control of moving equipment at all times.
