About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Flex Global Surveillance Security Operations Center Operator / Patrol in Santa Clara, California. The role involves monitoring security systems and environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses to identify threats before they escalate, as well as conducting patrols and protecting people and property. Candidates must be available any day of the week and for any shift—day, swing, or overnight—as scheduling needs vary. The role pays $28 per hour for patrol work and $33 per hour for GSOC work. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least one year of corporate security experience.
• Have at least one year of GSOC experience.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have an active driver's license.
• Be tech savvy and demonstrate strong proficiency with technology.
• Have excellent customer service experience.
• Provide an up-to-date security resume.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is considered an advantage.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and an additional 32 hours of BSIS security training. Additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors' identities.
