About The Position

Coke Florida is hiring a Fleet Technician based out of its Ocala location. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, and Saturday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM.

The Fleet Technician independently performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to support fleet reliability, safety, and operational uptime. The role owns repair execution while developing advanced diagnostic and repair skills. Work includes maintaining heavy-, medium-, and light-duty road vehicles, trailers, and powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of fleet maintenance experience.
• Experience servicing at least two of the following: diesel vehicles, light- and medium-duty trucks, trailers, or PIT equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction.
• Ability to diagnose root causes rather than symptoms.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and DOT compliance.
• Basic proficiency with fleet management or work order systems.
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of web-based fleet tools and Microsoft Office 365.
• Valid liability insurance and a driving record that meets Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) policy guidelines. Driving records, including minor moving violations, are evaluated according to Coke Florida guidelines to determine eligibility.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with welding.
• Experience with gasoline, diesel, propane, and/or electric vehicles.
• ASE certification strongly preferred.
• CDL license or certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on heavy-, medium-, and light-duty road vehicles, trailers, and powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures.
• Complete DOT inspections and related documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair brake, suspension, electrical, fuel, and hydraulic systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency repairs.
• Maintain accurate repair records in the Fleet Management Tool.
