About The Position

Maintain and repair PepsiCo fleet vehicles to help keep drivers safe and vehicles on the road delivering brands such as Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos. The role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, supporting complex repairs and troubleshooting, and helping ensure vehicle reliability. The position is located in Fort Worth, Texas, pays $40 per hour, and has a typical Monday–Friday schedule starting at 3 AM and ending at 11 AM depending on operational needs. Weekend, holiday, and off-shift work may be required. The technician will receive hands-on and classroom on-the-job training. The workplace is fast-paced and hands-on, with team members on the go for much of the day. Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
Valid CDL Class A license.
Driver's license must not have been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three years.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work in tight spaces for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work on or under trucks for an entire shift of 8 to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
May be required to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance.
Work alongside experienced mechanics on complex repairs and troubleshooting.
Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed; a CDL is required.
Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor.
