About The Position

The World Headquarters Vehicle Service Center services a fleet of over 14,000 Ford Motor Company vehicles annually. We are looking for a highly motivated, mechanically inclined supervisor to join our small management team. Candidates should be self-motivated with established problem-solving skills and possess a high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse and cross-functional teams utilizing strong written and oral communication skills. The position is key to the successful operation of the Vehicle Service Center and is an excellent role for individuals who are eager to learn, contribute and be a part of a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of automotive industry experience
  • Be comfortable working in a team environment
  • Have overall mechanical knowledge
  • Be proficient in basic computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that service an internal fleet of vehicles, organize workflow to meet quality and daily efficiency requirements
  • Ensure that safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work
  • Drive to exceed personal, team, and company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through leadership
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams
