The Fleet Registration Agent is responsible for processing registration and title paperwork for new and existing vehicles within the fleet. This role involves working closely with state agencies to obtain titles and registrations, ensuring timely ordering of registration/plates to facilitate equipment release for rental. The agent will update mainframe systems with title and plate numbers, scan all documents into imaging systems, and run queries using the company database. A key aspect of this role is understanding and applying the procedures for licensing trucks and trailers across various jurisdictions. The agent will also keep management informed of the production schedule and the status of licensing and renewals, and provide spreadsheets to the treasury office for financed units. Processing re-title work, including adding or removing banks as lienholders and/or lessors, is also a core responsibility.
