About The Position

The Fleet Parts and Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting fleet operations by coordinating parts, work orders, and maintenance scheduling to improve equipment uptime, control costs, and ensure timely, responsive service through collaboration with fleet teams, vendors, and operations. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of fleet, parts, or maintenance support experience required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Required use of personal protective equipment required (all PPE provided by Blanchard).
  • Requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.
  • Seeing, reading, and writing to complete job responsibilities.
  • Use of computers and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of fleet, parts, or maintenance support experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission, and values of BMC.

  • Order fleet parts based on maintenance and operational needs.
  • Source parts for technicians and Heavy Field Service.
  • Procure parts for rental and on-highway equipment.
  • Expedite urgent parts pickups to minimize downtime.
  • Open, update, and manage work orders for fleet maintenance and repairs.
  • Schedule fleet repairs and preventive maintenance with internal shops and vendors.
  • Receive and allocate parts to work orders for accurate cost tracking.
  • Process cores to ensure proper return and credit.
  • Manage parts returns and core recovery with suppliers.
  • Track outstanding returns to ensure timely credit.
  • Resolve discrepancies with vendors.
  • Support fleet operations and field teams daily.
  • Assist technicians with parts sourcing and coordination.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues quickly.
  • Support standardized processes across fleet operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
