About The Position
We are seeking skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles or machinery. They work with a variety of tools and technology to troubleshoot issues and ensure everything is running safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of vehicle systems and tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams
- Attention to detail and safety
- Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
Nice To Haves
- Certification from a trade school or ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test vehicles/machines for damage or malfunctions
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine issues
- Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads or wheel bearings
- Perform routine maintenance (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks)
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues
- Follow safety protocols and manufacturer specifications
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance
- Communicate with management about repairs and costs
