The expected starting base pay range for this position is $25.81 - $32.26, with a full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $25.81 - $38.71. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and other job-related factors. This position may also be eligible for shift differentials, overtime pay, or other forms of additional compensation, in accordance with applicable Company policies and law. Fleet Maintenance Technician I will ensure all fleet trailing equipment is inspected, maintained, and repaired in accordance with federal and state regulations as well as company standards and will ensure a safe working environment for all. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
1+ year of related experience and/or training in a mechanical setting, or an equivalent combination of education and specific work experience
Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
Experience as a semi-trailer maintenance technician highly preferred
Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting/moving items up to 125 pounds and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
You learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform your primary duties effectively.
You bring mechanical work experience that helps you contribute quickly to maintenance, repair, and inspection work.
You apply knowledge of OSHA requirements in daily work practices.
You maintain a flexible schedule to support 24-hour operations, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.
You stay dependable and adaptable as business needs, staffing needs, and workload shift.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a semi-trailer maintenance technician highly preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain and provide routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections on fleet trailing equipment.
Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by following policies and procedures outlined in the Company Safety Program and partnering with Safety leadership to ensure all programs and procedures are followed.
May be required to use a personal vehicle or Company vehicle to conduct business for the company.
Perform housekeeping duties, including work area clean-up, conveyor and equipment clean-up, and other general housekeeping duties as assigned.
Perform other tasks or assignments as deemed necessary by the organization based on operational needs.
