Fleet Maintenance Technician I - Reno

Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- 1+ year of related experience and/or training in a mechanical setting, or an equivalent combination of education and specific work experience
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
- Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting/moving items up to 125 pounds and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform your primary duties effectively.
- Bring mechanical work experience that helps you contribute quickly to maintenance, repair, and inspection work.
- Apply knowledge of OSHA requirements in daily work practices.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to support 24-hour operations, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.
- Stay dependable and adaptable as business needs, staffing needs, and workload shift.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a semi-trailer maintenance technician highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain and provide routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections on fleet trailing equipment.
- Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by following policies and procedures outlined in the Company Safety Program and partnering with Safety leadership to ensure all programs and procedures are followed.
- May be required to use a personal vehicle or Company vehicle to conduct business for the company.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including work area clean-up, conveyor and equipment clean-up, and other general housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Perform other tasks or assignments as deemed necessary by the organization based on operational needs.
