About The Position

The Fleet Supervisor (2nd Shift) starting at 11:30 a.m. is responsible for providing hands-on leadership, manages workflow, assigns and prioritizes repair and preventative maintenance tasks, and ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards for a fleet of 70+ vehicles while supervising a team of 13 technicians. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • 4 years years of relevant work experience. (in addition to education requirements)
  • Driver's License Valid Driver's License Upon Hire

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop.
  • Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.
  • Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents.
  • Performs mechanical duties as needed.
  • Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed.
  • Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed.
  • Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
  • Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.
  • Creates and submits reports as necessary.
