The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for receiving breakdown calls from drivers and coordinating repair facilities for equipment. This role involves daily monitoring of maintenance issues with tractors and trailers, providing regular status updates, and coordinating with repair shops and roadside services to minimize downtime. The coordinator will also research cost-effective and timely repair options, track and report on preventative maintenance and annual inspections, maintain maintenance files in all necessary systems, and enter maintenance invoices into the Transportation Management system. Ordering parts as needed and performing additional duties are also part of the role.
