About The Position

This position involves performing repairs and maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, effective use of tools, and collaboration with supervisors and team members. The mechanic will be responsible for the quality of their work, managing tools and materials, and contributing to a team environment. While primarily shop-based, mobile work may be required, potentially involving overnight travel and out-of-state trips. Overtime is expected as needed, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team is crucial. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, customer service-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic work assignments.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Must possess ability to utilize various electronic diagnostic equipment and make minor and major repairs to electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, gasoline and diesel systems.
Individual selected must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Candidate must be highly motivated and customer service driven.

Nice To Haves

A two-year technical, vocational or trade school diploma or degree in auto, truck, and/or heavy equipment is desired
Fluid Power Society and/or ASE certifications desired
