About The Position

The Fleet and Facilities Maintenance Helper safely performs light repairs on production and facility equipment, following safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support site business goals. The role assists the maintenance team with equipment and facility repairs and upkeep. The position is located in Seabrook, New Hampshire. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; however, the posting also notes that work schedules may vary and that nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime may be required.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn materials handling equipment (MHE) and facility preventive maintenance (PM) service repairs, and to be trained.
• Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and positively and productively with Operations management and other departments.
• Ability to communicate in English to receive and follow directions, interface with suppliers, and complete required maintenance paperwork.
• Positive attitude, ability to work under pressure, and good attendance.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
• Ability to work varied shifts and a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand for long periods and bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift up to 80 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience performing preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Park and charge production equipment at the start of the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness in the battery area.
• Water production equipment batteries.
• Repair transportation two-wheel hand dollies.
• Support the maintenance team with light facility and equipment repairs.
• Perform other facility and material upkeep as assigned.
• Respond to repair needs throughout the shift.
