About The Position

Fury Motors in South St. Paul is seeking a Fleet & Commercial Vehicle Journeyperson Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet and commercial vehicles. This role is crucial for minimizing business downtime by ensuring vehicles are quickly and effectively returned to service. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting, takes pride in quality repairs, and can work both independently and as part of a service team.

Requirements

Automotive repair experience; 2–5 years preferred.
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
The ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
Attention to detail in both your work and repair documentation.
A willingness to help teammates and share what you know.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose drivability concerns and identify needed repairs.
Repair brakes, suspension, steering, drivetrain, and electrical systems.
Perform maintenance services and replace worn or damaged components.
Document findings and completed work clearly.
Work with Service Advisors to explain additional repair needs and obtain approvals.
Test-drive vehicles to confirm repairs meet OEM and dealership standards.
Help keep work moving through the shop while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
Share knowledge with Light Duty Technicians and less experienced team members.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, organized work area.
