  • Hands-on experience with enterprise Fleet Maintenance Systems such as TMT, FMS, or CMMS, and telematics platforms such as Geotab and Lytx.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Ryder or Penske platforms.
  • Proven ability to design technical training programs, establish shop standards, and drive adoption across decentralized field teams.
  • Strong understanding of fleet regulatory compliance, including DOT and FMCSA, warranty management, capital budgeting, and vendor negotiation.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and roll out standardized maintenance procedures, shop layouts, and safety protocols across internal maintenance shops and external vendor networks.

  • Monitor shop performance indicators, including technician labor utilization, wrench time, repeat repairs, and bay turnaround times, to improve productivity.
  • Analyze fleet failure trends, component lifespans, and telematics data to recommend asset engineering modifications and refine future vehicle procurement specifications.
  • Partner with Procurement and Finance to develop capital budgets for shop equipment, diagnostic tools, and internal shop capability conversions, reducing costly third-party repair dependency.
  • Establish national standards for warranty recovery, campaign recall rollouts, and OEM technical dispute escalation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and field activation leader for the nationwide rollout of KDP’s Fleet Maintenance System, and provide ongoing support for Geotab and Lytx telematics platforms.
