Fleet Analyst
About The Position
Mechanical One is one of the fastest-growing residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical platforms in the Southeast. Our Fleet Analyst is responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing a company’s vehicle and equipment operations through data-driven insights. They analyze key performance metrics—such as fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, lifecycle costs, and asset utilization—to reduce corporate expenses, improve logistical productivity, and ensure full regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate at (Finance, Accounting)
- Strong in Excel (you know your way around formulas and pivots)
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- High ownership / low ego
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
- Willing to be in-office and engaged with the team
- Proficient with fleet tracking platforms (e.g., Geotab, Samsara, Fleetio), advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables), and data visualization software (Tableau or Power BI).

Responsibilities
- Fleet analytics reporting
- Utilizing Fleet Software
- Data Analysis: Collect and evaluate operational fleet data including fuel usage, driver behaviors, and idling times.
