About The Position

The Flatwork Feeder provides quality service and products to customers in a timely and professional manner. The role feeds linen into various ironers, follows each machine’s standard operating procedures, and inspects linen for stains, tears, holes, and wear. The employee is expected to meet quality and production standards.

The position requires reliability, attendance, adherence to safety rules and company policies, and the ability to work well with a diverse workforce and follow directions from team leads and supervisors. Employees maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and may need to work past their scheduled hours when production issues arise. Cross-training in other positions may be required according to production needs.

Requirements

• Be punctual and maintain excellent attendance.
• Work well with a diverse workforce.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Stand for up to 12 hours a day.
• Have sufficient manual dexterity to feed ironers.
• Consistently meet physical requirements, including bending, twisting, and pulling.

• Feed linen into various ironers.
