About The Position

The Feeder supports production operations by pulling, picking, feeding, returning to stock, and packaging product. The position requires availability to work all shifts: first shift, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; second shift, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; and third shift, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Pay is $17.15, increasing to $18.99 after six months. The position is covered by the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA); if this job description conflicts with the CBA, the CBA prevails. The position may require overtime and cross-training or working in other positions and classifications as determined by team leaders or management. Duties may change based on business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Must be available to work all shifts.
Ability to prioritize in an ever-changing environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work overtime or any shift as required.
Ability to use a computer and email.
Ability to perform quality checks as required.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Ability to recognize defects and read small print.
Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

Prepare and stage batch carts in the correct locations.
Accurately pick stock and return stock to inventory.
Notify departments of restocking requirements.
Use a computer and email.
Maintain 5S and a safe work environment.
Perform quality checks as directed by the supervisor.
Assist with removing product and packaging from production equipment.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Cross-train and work in other positions and classifications as determined by team leaders or management.
Perform other duties as determined by team leaders or management.
