About The Position

The Feeder pulls, picks, feeds, returns to stock, and packages product in support of production operations. The role requires working across shifts as needed, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, completing quality checks, and coordinating restock requirements. The employee may be cross-trained and assigned to other positions or classifications based on team leader or management direction. This position is covered by the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), whose provisions prevail in the event of a conflict with this job description. Conditions and demands are subject to change based on business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Must be available to work all shifts: 1st shift, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; 2nd shift, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; and 3rd shift, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
Ability to work overtime or any shift as required.
Ability to prioritize in an ever-changing environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to perform required quality checks, provide excellent customer service, recognize defects, and read small print.
Physical ability to meet the stated demands, including standing, bending, stooping, grasping, handling, reaching, twisting, walking, and lifting or carrying loads up to 100 pounds on a seldom basis.

Responsibilities

Prepare and stage batch carts in the correct locations.
Accurately pick and return stock.
Notify departments of restock requirements.
Use a computer and email.
Maintain 5S and a safe work environment.
Perform quality checks as directed by the supervisor.
Assist in removing product and packaging from production equipment.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Cross-train and work in other positions and classifications as determined by team leaders or management.
Perform other duties as determined by team leaders or management.
