About The Position

Mullens Markings, Inc. (MMI) is seeking dependable Flaggers to join their team in the Roanoke/Buchanan, VA area. This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you will work with a crew to ensure the safety of drivers, workers, and construction zones. MMI provides pavement marking and traffic control services throughout Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region, and is an operating company of Road Safety Services (RSS).

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Dependable and ready to work as part of a crew.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Available for days, nights, weekends, and overtime as projects require.
• Ability to obtain required certification.

Nice To Haves

• Traffic control or construction experience is a plus.
• Flagger certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic safely through active work zones.
• Set up and remove signs, cones, and other traffic control devices.
• Communicate with drivers and crew members.
• Load and unload traffic control equipment.
• Help keep work zones safe and organized.
• Follow traffic control plans and safety procedures.
