About The Position

The Fitting Room Specialist supports customers and sales associates by providing friendly service and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized fitting room. The role includes greeting customers, managing fitting-room check-in and check-out, monitoring merchandise brought into rooms, and preparing merchandise to return to the selling floor. The specialist also answers incoming calls, develops product knowledge, and helps customers with questions about merchandise location, price, and use, directing them to the appropriate associate when needed.

Requirements

• Have or be pursuing a high school diploma or GED, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have 1–3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be able to perform medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and check them in and out of fitting rooms while monitoring the amount of merchandise they bring into the room.
• Prepare merchandise, including buttoning and zipping items, for return to the selling floor.
• Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and pleasant manner.
• Learn product knowledge to assist customers and partner effectively with sales associates.
• Answer questions about merchandise location, price, and use, and direct customers to the correct associate when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fitting room environment.
• Follow safety procedures and perform duties in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury.
