About The Position

The Fitting Room Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role models customer experience practices and supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect. Duties include assisting with purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, processing and preparing merchandise, maintaining sales-floor presentation and cleanliness, and supporting store recovery, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. Other duties may be assigned. The position is part-time at the TJ Maxx store at 8125 East Kellog, Wichita, Kansas. Starting pay is $12.75 to $13.25 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
