About The Position

The Fitting Room Specialist provides friendly customer service and helps maintain an organized fitting room area. The role includes checking customers in and out of fitting rooms, monitoring merchandise, preparing items to return to the sales floor, answering calls, and learning product information to assist customers and sales associates. Compensation starts at $17 per hour. The ideal candidate has or is pursuing a high school diploma or GED and has 1–3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The position requires physical activities including sitting, standing, bending, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing and pulling, lifting, talking, and hearing, with or without reasonable accommodation. It involves medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly. Associates are expected to follow safety procedures and perform their duties in a way that minimizes the risk of injury.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Greet customers and check them in and out of fitting rooms while monitoring the amount of merchandise in each fitting room.
Prepare merchandise, including buttoning and zipping items, before returning it to the selling floor.
Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional, and pleasant manner.
Learn product knowledge to assist customers and partner effectively with sales associates.
Answer questions about merchandise location, price, and use, and direct customers to the correct associate when necessary.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fitting room environment.
Follow safety procedures and perform job duties in a way that minimizes the risk of injury.
