About The Position

VMC Group and companies are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment. This is a full-time second-shift position offering competitive pay and benefits. Requirements

• Proficiency in various welding techniques, including stick welding.
• Knowledge of ductwork fabrication and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to use calipers for precise measurements.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during fabrication.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with operating press brake machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and soldering tasks to join metal components.
