About The Position

Cape Fox Concentric Methods is hiring an on-call Fitness Test Administrator to conduct Physical Fitness Exams for the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS). The role involves setting up test stations and administering push-ups, sit-ups, and a 1.5-mile run according to strict form and timing standards. The administrator records results in a secure field app and completes two-person validation with the Site Lead. Sessions are scheduled in three-hour blocks, and the administrator typically works three hours per event. The hourly rate is $36.51. The company also offers a 401(k) with company match.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One or more years in structured fitness testing, coaching, or officiating.
Proficiency with mobile data capture.
Pass the Concentric Methods Scoring and QA module with at least 98% blinded accuracy.
Sign annual conflict-of-interest and confidentiality attestations.
Have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Current CPR/AED certification.
Experience officiating or administering fitness assessments.
A recognized fitness credential or equivalent coaching background.
Excellent attention to detail, clear communication, and consistency under written SOPs.

Responsibilities

Set up test stations to specification and verify measured distances and lap markers.
Administer events in sequence, enforce form standards and counting rules, and record official times.
Enter data into the secure field app and reconcile discrepancies with the Site Lead.
Support two-person validation and sign the score sheet.
Perform written calibration checks at setup, including distance verification and timer spot-checks.
Apply consistent “no-rep” protocols with clear verbal cues that do not confer an advantage.
Record rest intervals to the session timeline to support auditability.
Complete a quarterly skills check covering timing accuracy and counting concordance within tolerance.
