About The Position

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is seeking a friendly and motivated Fitness Floor Attendant for the Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness facility in Bentonville, Arkansas. The role helps maintain a welcoming, safe, and engaging fitness environment by supervising the exercise floor, assisting members with fitness needs, and providing customer service. Attendants cover open shifts when regular staff are unavailable and are expected to cover at least two six-hour shifts per calendar month. This is an on-call position.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Adult and pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety & Health Institute required within the first 30 days of hire.
Ability to lift weights up to 40 pounds for restacking.
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, including the ability to motivate others.
Ability to organize and prioritize work demands effectively.
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team, with enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity.
Availability to cover a minimum of two six-hour shifts per calendar month.

Nice To Haves

Prior fitness and customer service experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of computer applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise the exercise floor and interact with members and program participants.
Monitor equipment and participant safety.
Welcome members, answer questions, respond to requests at the front desk, and enter data into the membership system.
Perform facility maintenance and ensure the facility, equipment, and locker rooms are clean and stocked.
Understand and carry out emergency medical procedures throughout the facility.
Demonstrate and instruct members on the proper use of exercise equipment.
