About The Position

The Fitness and Membership Coordinator oversees all aspects of front desk operations and membership services while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include timekeeping for all staff that report to the program manager, recordkeeping and file maintenance of all membership files, maintaining financial accuracy and accounting of all membership and program activity, data base management and providing oversight and guidance to the Aquatic Service Associate.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two years experience in office management in a fitness, wellness, or related setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to function independently.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all applications of Microsoft office including database management.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
  • CPR Certification including Automated External Defibrillation (AED).

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Personal Trainer Certification.
  • Experience working with Twin Oaks Software.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively utilizes the Twin Oaks Database to manage membership and billing information, prepare reports, and perform audits.
  • Facilitates the efficient daily operations of front desk activities and membership services; including assisting members and guests.
  • Maintains membership files and forms, in accordance with contract requirements and department archiving procedures.
  • Collaborates with community agencies such as senior centers and group homes to provide services.
  • Maintains accurate financial records for all membership and program activity including Worker's Compensation Claims and applications for subsidy assistance.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and submission of billing of assigned account groups.
  • Maintain personnel payroll and process time-keeping for the department.
  • Responsible for providing oversight and direction to the Aquatic Services Associate and per diem front desk staff.
