About The Position

Park Center Health and Fitness is looking for an energetic professional responsible for driving membership growth through strategic outreach efforts, including community engagement, corporate visits and special events. Additionally, this individual will support in developing, implementing and managing a new CRM system to effectively track leads, strengthen follow-up efforts and maximize membership sales opportunities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• At least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, lead generation, and customer relations.
• A valid Illinois driver’s license required for local health fairs throughout the year (approx. 3-4 year)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Professional certification(s) and/or active membership in a professional association are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Customer Service and Membership Supervisor in assisting in training the Fitness Desk Staff on tour expectations
• Create lead generation through various methods, including in-person, telephone, and internet outreach, corporate site visits, and special events
• Achieve or exceed membership sales goals by creating referrals, turning inquiries into tours, and communicating with prospects
• Develop and maintain effective internal and external oral, written, and electronic communications including responding to phone calls, emails, comments, and suggestions in a timely manner
• Represent the District positively and ethically to patrons, guests, and staff safely conducts all work, including using personal protective equipment and safety devices as required; identifies and reports any real or potential safety hazards.
• Proactively supports the District's environmental initiatives including recycling, conserving resources, and preventing pollution.
• Comply with all District environmental policies and procedures.
