About The Position
The Fitness Floor Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment on the fitness floor. This role involves interacting with members, assisting them with equipment, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the fitness area. The position offers flexibility with an Early Wage Access (EWA) program, allowing employees to access a portion of their earned wages on demand.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Minimum of one-year experience in customer service or wellness field preferred
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire)
- New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma preferred
- YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification (completed within 60 days of hire)
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment on the fitness floor.
- Assist members with equipment and fitness-related questions.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the fitness area.
- Provide excellent customer service to all members.
