About The Position
Greene County is seeking a Fitness Floor Associate. This role offers an Early Wage Access (EWA) program, allowing employees to access a portion of their earned wages on demand. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience in customer service or the wellness field, and the ability to obtain specific certifications within a set timeframe.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire)
- New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of one-year experience in customer service or wellness field
- YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification (completed within 60 days of hire)
Responsibilities
- Monitor fitness floor to ensure safety and provide assistance to members.
- Assist members with equipment usage and fitness-related questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness floor.
- Promote YMCA programs and services.
- Respond to member inquiries and concerns effectively.
