About The Position
Greene County is seeking a Childwatch Babysitter. This position offers flexibility with an Early Wage Access (EWA) program, allowing employees to access a portion of their earned wages on demand. The role requires individuals to be at least 16 years old and have prior childcare or babysitting experience. CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are required within 30 days of hire, along with several mandatory training sessions within 90 days of hire.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 16 or older (with valid NYS working papers for minors)
- Prior childcare or babysitting experience required.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
Nice To Haves
- Babysitting Certification is preferred.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire)
- New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
