About The Position

Conduct various adult and youth fitness classes. Employee Behavior and Conduct City employees shall conduct themselves in a professional manner and shall exhibit and extend such professional conduct appropriate for the circumstances to those with whom they come into contact both internally and externally during the performance of their duties. Examples of professional conduct include, but are not limited to, being communicative, informative, fair, honest and respectful. All applicants must pass a drug screening and criminal background check prior to employment. Any job offer made by the City is contingent upon the applicant passing the drug screening and background check. Requirements

Skills and knowledge in proper instruction and conducting assigned fitness class.
Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED training certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association or an equivalent nationally recognized course in First Aid/CPR/AED.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing to a wide variety of age groups.
Ability to work flexible hours, which will include evenings, weekends and holidays.
One or more years’ experience required or any combination of education and work experience to provide the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
