About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Fitness Attendant for The Wigwam, a Four Diamond property. This role involves enhancing the guest experience in the fitness center, ensuring equipment is safe and functional, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in exceptional service, a willingness to learn, and a professional and courteous demeanor. This position requires an energetic presence and the ability to engage with guests from around the world, aiming to "WOW" them through outstanding service and problem resolution. The Fitness Attendant will also work closely with the team to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the fitness center and retail store, and interact professionally with other hotel staff.

Requirements

Available to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience
Strong desire to make an impact on other people
Outgoing and engaging personality
Strong Computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

Enhance the guest experience while in the fitness center
Ensure the equipment is in safe and operating correctly
Greet and engage with guests, setting the example for customer service best practices
Maintain the cleanliness of the fitness center
Have knowledge of the fitness area and the resort/hotel
Ensure policies are followed in all point-of-sale operations
Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest
Help to resolve problems and "WOW" guests through recovery when things aren’t quite right
Work closely with the team to ensure the retail store is kept clean and organized
Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information
