About The Position

The FITE Test Analyst will support DCGS-MC, a service-level effort to migrate selected United States Marine Corps Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance processing and exploitation capabilities into a single integrated hardware and software baseline. The end system is intended to provide scalable All-Source and Geospatial Intelligence processing, exploitation, and dissemination capabilities for intelligence analysts across the Marine Air-Ground Task Force, while improving the discoverability, accessibility, and comprehension of ISR data through a scalable, standards-based architecture.

The analyst will assist with functional requirements-based and integration testing of FITE systems. The role includes analyzing functional requirements, preparing test steps and test cases in accordance with software-testing practices outlined in IEEE/EIA 12207, supporting test documentation, and reporting and tracking defects identified during formal testing. Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance upon starting.

Requirements

• 10 years of professional experience solving C4ISR or C2 technical problems.
• Training in systems engineering and software design and maintenance, including C4ISR systems architecture, hardware and software integration, requirements analysis, system testing and validation, configuration management, and lifecycle maintenance of mission-critical DoD systems.
• Practical understanding of engineering concepts.
• Ability to ensure C4ISR or C2 solution products, services, and processes meet quality and safety standards.
• Experience testing equipment to ensure processes operate effectively and safely.
• Motivated and self-starting.
• Active Top Secret clearance upon starting.

Nice To Haves

• Proven experience drafting Test Plans, Test Procedures, GAT documents, and bug reports.
• Track Management (system-of-systems) experience.
• Linux and networking experience.
• Tactical experience or C2 systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with functional requirements-based testing and integration testing.
• Analyze functional requirements and prepare test steps and test cases for FITE systems in accordance with software testing practices outlined in IEEE/EIA 12207.
• Assist in developing Test Readiness Reviews, Test Plans, and Test Reports.
• Report and track software defects identified through formal testing.
