About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer-service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise carefully, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, keeping merchandise stocked and properly priced, maintaining product knowledge, and helping customers make buying decisions. The associate performs duties under general supervision using established procedures and occasional independent judgment.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized point-of-sale register system.
• Ability to perform tasks under general supervision, use established procedures, and exercise occasional independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and in a friendly manner.
• Provide information, assistance, and direction to customers, and handle merchandise with care.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Help customers identify and evaluate their needs and recommend suitable products.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of products through ongoing training and stay informed about advertised sales.
• Maintain pricing and signing.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Make recommendations concerning work procedures, policies, and practices.
