Requirements

  • One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.
  • Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Record and monitor financial information for accuracy in agency systems.
  • Handle payroll related entries and updates in required databases.
  • Enter financial and administrative data into state or county systems.
  • Assist in preparing charts, spreadsheets, and budget documents.
  • Prepare Civil Service materials and maintain organized files.
