Requirements

  • One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Able to perform essential job functions.
  • Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Enter expenditures and income and verify completion of journal transfers and deposits
  • Check ledger account numbers and vendor information before processing invoices
  • Allocate quarterly expenses and prepare related reports
  • Review and process financial, payroll, and audit documents
  • Compile fiscal data, maintain files, and support deadlines for required reports
