Requirements

• One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Two years of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
• An equivalent combination of experience and training
• Meet the PA residency requirement
• Be able to perform essential job functions

Responsibilities

• Prepare state budget documents, rebudget materials, spending plans, and projections
• Review expenditures, create weekly reports, track funds, and complete fiscal adjustments
• Guide and support two Fiscal Management Specialist 2 employees through daily tasks and responsibilities
• Research financial issues, prepare corrective action updates, and respond to audit requests
• Approve invoices, salary adjustments, travel codes, and fiscal correspondence
• Create and manage Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs), Notification of Subgrants (NOS), and related amendments
