About The Position

The PA Liquor Control Board, Office of Asset Protection is seeking a highly motivated professional candidate to join our team in an analytical and hands-on role. This Fiscal Management Specialist 2 position is responsible for conducting audits and accounting for inventory stored in our Eastern Region Distribution Center, located in Philadelphia, PA. Your efforts will support accurate and efficient inventory practices that provide reliable information for operational decision making. Requirements

• One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
• One year of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Be able to perform essential job functions.
• Pass a background investigation.
• No felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and review audits and cycle counts for all inventory stored in the regional warehouse distribution center
• Write clear reports that summarize findings of fact as a result of audits and cycle counts; develop reports on all unaccountable discrepancies or damages and detail any associated or mitigating factors
• Review and analyze all exception and damage reports, then investigate any discrepancies
• Review and analyze any adjustments and reconcile outstanding inventory issues
• Evaluate physical surroundings and inventory processes to identify risks of inventory loss
• Work with third party logistics providers to monitor inventory accuracy and related processes to increase accuracy levels
