DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position supports major fiscal processes that help counties manage grant funding for important child and family services. The role involves reviewing budgets, processing payments, and assisting with financial oversight across multiple funding streams. As a Fiscal Management Specialist 1, you will perform the following duties: Grant Oversight: Review county grant invoices, monitor budgets, and support reimbursement processes SAP Processing: Enter funds commitments, process invoices, and extract financial data within SAP software for proper payment tracking Fiscal Coordination: Collaborate with counties and internal partners to address budget questions, resolve discrepancies, and support fiscal compliance Budget Analysis: Analyze budget revisions, confirm accuracy, and authorize transfers between funding categories in accordance with regulations Technical Support: Provide assistance to counties by correcting report errors, guiding invoice submissions, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
