About The Position

This is routine clerical work of an accounting nature which includes the application of bookkeeping principles and practices in maintaining financial records.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, including or supplemented with coursework in accounting, bookkeeping, and general office procedures and preferably some clerical and public contact experience; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
  • Applicants must pass an examination in order to qualify for this position.
  • Eligibles selected for appointment must meet the established medical and physical standards for the class of work.
  • The medical examination must be by one of the physicians designated by the Personnel Board.
  • Appointees must bear the cost of the examination.
