About The Position

The Fiscal & Budget Officer (Administrative Officer) will work directly with the Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) and provides a range of professional services and resource allocations including budgeting and fiscal management. This position also includes, revenue reconciliation and reporting, and a variety of other duties in support of ongoing Division operations and activities. The Fiscal & Budget Officer will be a key member of the management team so the ability to evaluate operations, make guided and accurate decisions, and plan for long range projects and operations is necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Three years of experience in the agency services or related field
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong work ethic

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions based on the relative costs and benefits of potential actions
  • Ability to resolve operational issues
  • Ability to elevate matters as necessary
  • Ability to exercise discretion and judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Knowledge of the concepts and theories of business management principles
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of operational and program budgeting and revenue projection techniques
  • Knowledge of customer services standards
  • Knowledge of effective business communication strategies
  • Knowledge of inventory control
