Fiscal Analyst
About The Position
Woodland Community College is seeking an equity-minded, dynamic, collaborative, and innovative Fiscal Analyst. Under the direction of the Director of Fiscal Services and the Woodland Community College President, the position performs complex professional accounting duties; leads and collaborates with professional and administrative staff as assigned; and coordinates and assists in preparing financial information needed for college operations, categorical funds, and grants administration. The analyst works with minimum supervision and exercises a high degree of individual judgment. The role recommends improvements to District-wide and college financial information systems and procedures, implements fiscal policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with applicable laws, principles, policies, procedures, information technology coordination, and District directives and goals. Working directly with the Director of Fiscal Services and in collaboration with the College President, the analyst provides District and college summaries and budget-versus-actual financial data for monthly and annual reporting.
Requirements
- Any combination equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration and six years of accounting- or budget-related experience.
