About The Position

As the Fiscal Analyst 2, you would report to the Fiscal Manager and would be responsible for Cash, Fixed Assets, Notes, Land & Real Estate, and Related Entities. Fiscal Analyst 2 also assists in the management of all fiscal support functions. The duties include following GAAP guidelines for preparing and posting transactions to the Foundation’s general ledger systems (Sage), and WSU’s financial system (Workday); In this role you will be responsible for preparing customized reports per request; preparing reconciliations; ensuring accuracy between systems and preparing audit deliverables.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, which must include 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting and one year of relevant professional experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting financial data and preparing financial reports, statements and/or fiscal projections.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency level with Microsoft software programs such as Outlook, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint; in addition to other database applications.

• Accounting experience that involves balancing large dollar accounts with large number of transactions.
• Experience working with CRM, WSUF’s donor system.
