About The Position

The Fiscal Analyst 2 reports to the Fiscal Manager and is responsible for managing Cash, Fixed Assets, Notes, Land & Real Estate, and Related Entities. This role also assists in the management of all fiscal support functions. Key duties include preparing and posting transactions to the Foundation’s general ledger systems (Sage) and WSU’s financial system (Workday) in accordance with GAAP guidelines. The Fiscal Analyst 2 will also prepare customized reports, perform reconciliations, ensure system accuracy, and prepare audit deliverables.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, which must include 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting and one year of relevant professional experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting financial data and preparing financial reports, statements and/or fiscal projections.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency level with Microsoft software programs such as Outlook, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint; in addition to other database applications.

• Accounting experience that involves balancing large dollar accounts with large number of transactions.
• Experience working with CRM, WSUF’s donor system.
