Fireworks Security Staff
About The Position
Under the supervision of the Fireworks Commissioner, this role ensures the safety of fireworks stands. The position involves patrolling the fireworks area, securing stands after business hours, maintaining public order, and working collaboratively with tribal security, police, and fire departments. The role also includes enforcing drug and alcohol-free environment policies, maintaining logs of work and duties, reporting incidents in writing, and potentially patrolling other fireworks properties. Employees may be expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties as part of the Tribe's commitment to community service.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass Drug/Alcohol test
- Must have Valid Washington State Driver’s License
- Must be able to work well with the public
- Must be dependable and punctual
Responsibilities
- Patrols the fireworks area on a regular basis.
- Makes sure that the windows and doors of each stand are secure after business hours.
- Maintains public order.
- Accompanies Firework Commissioner when he/she inspects fireworks stands.
- Works with Muckleshoot Indian Tribal security, Auburn Police, and Fire Department.
- Enforces the Drug and alcohol free environment policies.
- Maintains a log of all time worked and duties performed while on shift, reports all incidents to commissioner in writing.
- Must be able to patrol other fireworks properties if requested.
