About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises during overnight shifts, with flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle any situations calmly and professionally. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in security or a related field, with a strong understanding of security principles and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to security in a residential setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certifications in security or law enforcement are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of community, monitoring security cameras, and identifying any suspicious activities or potential security threats.
  • Manage access points, verify the identity of individuals entering the premises, and enforce community policies regarding access and guest entry.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, including but not limited to fire alarms, medical incidents, and security breaches. Take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and provide assistance as needed.
  • Interact with residents, guests, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner. Address inquiries and concerns, providing assistance and guidance when required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related occurrences. Submit timely reports to supervisors.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, and other relevant authorities when necessary. Act as a liaison to ensure a seamless response to security issues.
  • Conduct routine inspections of common areas, facilities, and equipment to identify and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on security procedures, emergency protocols, and community policies. Share knowledge with other staff members as needed.
