About The Position

Under the supervision of the Fireworks Commissioner, this role ensures the safety of fireworks stands. The position involves maintaining public order, enforcing policies, and working collaboratively with various security and emergency services. Employees may also be expected to perform a variety of related duties as needed, reflecting the Tribe's commitment to community service.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol test.
• Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's License.
• Must be able to work well with the public.
• Must be dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Patrols the fireworks area on a regular basis.
• Ensures the security of fireworks stands after business hours.
• Maintains public order.
• Accompanies the Fireworks Commissioner during inspections of fireworks stands.
• Collaborates with Muckleshoot Indian Tribal security, Auburn Police, and the Fire Department.
• Enforces drug and alcohol-free environment policies.
• Maintains a log of all time worked and duties performed, and reports all incidents to the commissioner in writing.
• Patrols other fireworks properties if requested.
• Performs a wide range of office and field duties as needed.
