About The Position
This position is for a Firefighter who is also a certified Paramedic or AEMT. The role involves responding to emergency medical calls and fire incidents. The closing date for applications is October 5, 2026, with testing scheduled for October 10, 2026. The pay rate varies based on certification level and experience, with Paramedics earning between $69,888-$104,832 annually and AEMTs earning between $60,834-$91,252 annually. The schedule is a 48/96 rotation, meaning 48 hours on duty followed by 96 hours off, within a 24-day cycle.
Requirements
- Graduation from High School or equivalent.
- Must possess a current, valid Driver's License, and have a good driving record.
- The successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to random drug testing.
- Will consider Paramedics/AEMTS without Firefighter certifications, must be currently certified to test.
- NREMT must be obtained before test date of October 10, 2026
- Employment in this position is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background and drug test.
